Retail Chain Von Maur Expanding to More States
Davenport, Iowa–based retailer Von Maur Department Stores signed a deal to open its first store in Oklahoma in 2014.
The news follows announcements that Von Maur is opening stores this year in New York and Alabama. The company opened its second Georgia store in Atlanta last year.
The 140-year-old retail chain currently operates 27 stores in 11 states, including Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Nebraska, Missouri, Minnesota, Kansas and Kentucky.
The 150,000-square-foot Oklahoma store will be in the Quail Springs Mall in Oklahoma City, which is opened by General Growth Properties.—A.A.N.
