Kinfolk to Downtown LA
The downtown LA retail scene keeps getting hipper.
The latest news is that Kinfolk, that small New York/Tokyo centric retail chain is opening up a new space off Ninth Street in the basement of the Eastern Columbia building at 849 S. Broadway.
Kinfolk has taken retail and interpreted in its own form, mixing music, clothes and drinking. There will be a space for clothes and bicycles. And while we're at it, a bar for a special blend of cocktails and a performance space.
This will be the fourth location for Kinfolk, which started out in Tokyo and then branched out to Brooklyn with two stores right next to each other.
The new store Los Angeles store, which will carry the Kinfolk apparel brand, will open in September.
