H & M Opens in Downtown LA on May 1
So May 1, or May Day, is the big day for H & M.
It is opening its largest store in Southern California at the renovated Fig at 7th shopping center in downtown Los Angeles at noon on May 1. The exact location is 733 S. Figueroa St.
People have been peeking into the windows and trying to open the store doors for the past couple of days now. The store is one floor above the City Target store and right next to the upcoming Zara store that is scheduled to open soon.
At 32,000 square feet, there is something for everyone. The store will be stocking merchandise for men, women and children. There will be stores within the store to show off the Swedish retailer's accessories, lingerie, sports apparel, maternity wear and plus-size fashions.
Fig at 7th is becoming quite the shopping center, with a Victoria's Secret slated to open soon too. Tons of new restaurants and fast-food eateries dot the lower level of the open-air center. While you are at the H & M celebration on Thursday, you can shop at the Farmers Market held there on Thursdays.
