Modern Weaving Spring 2016 accessories will debut exclusively on The Dreslyn on Dec. 16.

Beginning tomorrow, L.A. online specialty retailer The Dreslyn will launch the first season of Modern Weaving accessories. The collection of handbags and jewelry will be sold exclusively on The Dreslyn for the next four weeks.

Designed by Tiffani Williams, the Los Angeles–based accessories collection is inspired by Williams’ “experience in the creative development of new fibers and fabrics on the ground with craft-masters as far and wide as Peru, Egypt, and Guatemala, to Tokyo, Paris and Denmark.”

The modern, sculptural handbags draw inspiration from ancient basketry techniques which are rendered in Italian leathers. The jewelry is made from of potter-crafted Nara porcelain, raw brass and sterling silver.

“We are thrilled to be hosting the worldwide launch of Modern Weaving on The Dreslyn,” said The Dreslyn founder Brooke Taylor Corcia. “We love representing emerging talent from our native Los Angeles and we’re proud to be a permanent home for the brand.”

Prices range from $100 for Modern Weaving’s Dome Earrings to $600 for the Laser-Cut Oversize Carryall.

Modern Weaving will be carried on the The Dreslyn alongside ready-to-wear and accessories brands such as A.P.C., Rachel Comey, Raquel Allegra, Comme Des Garçons Play and Helmut Lang, and indie designers including Building Block, Base Range, Caron Callahan, Ryan Roche, Common Projects, Loren Stewart and Organic by John Patrick.
