Designer and “Project Runway” contestant Korto Momolu was among the designers featured at the Style Africa Gala and Runway Show, held June 20 at the California Market Center in Los Angeles.
In addition to Momolu, the runway highlighted men’s and women’s designs by Fulani, Aunt Funkys Closet, IMV Couture, Leontine, Oyato, Koko Nanga and Sumahrie.
The event was hosted by Africa Boku Talent, a Southern California organization founded to be a hub of African creativity in art, crafts, culinary arts, design, fashion, film, music, performing arts, photography and more.
