Frame's First Store Lands in LA

Frame has been one of the coolest new denim lifestyle brands to pop up in recent years.

Co-founders Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede like to say their label, launched in 2012, is inspired by London but crafted in Los Angeles. (The design studio is in Culver City.)

So it was only natural that their first store that opened last week should be in the lifestyle capital of Los Angeles. The Swedish tastemakers picked a prime spot at 8467 Melrose Place for their first Frame outpost. Swedish architect Christian Hallerod designed the store, which has a mid-century feel to it with clean lines, lots of wood and large windows.

The Big Apple is where Frame will be opening its next store this summer.
