Fashion Photographer Peter Lindbergh Getting Major Retrospective
Peter Lindbergh has worked with some of the most super of supermodels as well as actors and other celebrities.
He has photographed the campaigns for Giorgio Armani, Jil Sander, Prada, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein and Comme des Garçons.
The 71-year-old has photographed supermodels such as Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Tatjana Patitz and Christy Turlington as well as Kate Moss.
This September, if you happen to be in the Netherlands, you might want to check out the 220 photographs that will be on display at the Kunsthal Rotterdam, which is presenting an overview of Lindbergh's works from Sept. 10 to Feb. 12, 2017.
There will be previously unseen material from personal notes, storyboards, props, Polaroids, contact sheets and films to monumental prints showing how Lindbergh's black-and-white photos have determined the course of fashion photography since the early 1980s.
The exhibition, called "A Different Vision on Fashion Photography," will be divided into nine different sections - from Supermodels and Courturiers to The Darkroom and the Silver Screen.
