Walking down a runway holding holding smart phones to their ears, runway models for the Siwy denim brand made the case that the 12-year-old jeans label is ready to become a lifestyle brand.

Siwy showed its Spring 2018 looks at a runway show for Art Hearts Fashion Oct. 5 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. In addition to the denim bottoms that the brand has become known for, Siwy showed T-shirts, woven tops, jackets, even pajamas for its Spring 2018 season.

Kris Park, the chief executive officer of Siwy, said that the brand’s customers have been looking for additional garments with a Siwy design. Park said that the new lifestyle looks kept the integrity of the Siwy name. “We have not changed that much. We were always fashion forward,” she said.

New looks included denim bottom, jeans jackets and sweats bearing Swarovski studs. Other details featured zippers, sweat pants and jeans with tuxedo-style tape on the sides of the pants. Also in the mix dresses, and styles inspired by 1980s clothes. In September, Siwy unveiled a capsule collection with Disney. Some of the shirts with Mickey Mouse graphics and jeans bearing Mickey Mouse patches took the Art Hearts runway on Oct. 5.
