Lights, Camera, Action!

Surf-, skate- and streetwear manufacturers' girls are growing up. For Summer 2003, that means stylish clothes that combine the cool and comfortable looks that juniors need with the sex appeal they want. <p>In the spotlight this season are skin-baring tube tops that look great with casual cargo or military- style shorts. Dress tube tops up by pairing them with skirts-the look feels dressy without seeming overdone. Speaking of skirts, minis and knee-lengths are a favorite-especially in florals and stripes. Cropped pants are a must this season and look ultra-cute paired with a sexy halter.</p> <p>Transitioning from summer to fall? A lightweight, satin-finish messenger jacket or '80s-esque long-sleeve striped shirt ought to do the trick. Is this an indication that '80s' edge is back?
