The 1960s continue with a slant toward 1970s hippie, bohemian styles, and juniors go retro with vintage surf looks and edgy 1980s inspiration. Designers continue to expand their offerings with sportswear such as dresses, rompers and coordinated beachwear. Childrenswear is a breakout category in the swim market as designers find a demand for children's suits that coordinate with styles worn by Mom. And the eco-craze has caught up to swim with innovative styles that utilize organic and recycled fabrics that are helping save the environment.
