* TIMING...Tuesday morning through Wednesday evening. Right now,
Thursday is beyond the seven day forecast, but it looks like
excessive heat conditions will extend into Thursday.
* TEMPERATURE...Las Vegas Valley 111 to 116. Northeast Clark
County, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and lower Colorado
River Valley 116 to 122. Pahrump Valley, Barstow, Morongo
Basin 108 to 113. Kingman and Colorado City 102 to 107. Death
Valley National Park 122 to 127. Mount Charleston 85 to 90.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and
heat stroke will be possible. People most vulnerable include
those who are spending lots of time outdoors...those who do
not have air conditioning...young children...the elderly...and
those with chronic ailments.
