...STRONG THUNDERSTORM MOVING TOWARD LAKE TAHOE...
At 611 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Meyers, or near South Lake Tahoe, moving north at 10 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm along
with brief moderate to heavy rain and plentiful lightning.
Locations impacted include...
South Lake Tahoe, Bliss State Park, Meyers, Glenbrook, Zephyr Cove,
Emerald Bay, Zephyr Cove-Round Hill Village, Sugar Pine Point S,
Kingsbury, South Lake Tahoe Airport, Stateline, Meeks Bay, Fallen
Leaf Campground and Meeks Bay Campground.
