* WHAT...Heavy snow occurring. Periods of blizzard conditions
through midday today. Strong winds will cause whiteout
conditions in blowing and drifting snow. From Highway 395
westward, additional snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches with
localized amounts up to 2 feet near the Sierra crest. East of
Highway 395, additional accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with
localized amounts up to 8 inches.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 10 AM PST Saturday.

Heaviest snowfall rates expected through noon today.
