...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS
EVENING...
* HIGH TEMPERATURES...Record heat. Highs 90 to 100 at high
elevation to between 100 and 108 in the foothills.
* LOW TEMPERATURES...Little relief. Low temperatures in the 70s
and 80s in the foothills.
* IMPACTS FOR HEAT...Increased potential for serious heat-
related illnesses, especially for the young and elderly, those
performing outdoor activities, as well as those without access
to air conditioning. Increased potential for power outages.
* It will be cooler Sunday but there still may be a need for a
heat advisory.
