At 413 PM PDT Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southeast of California City, or 34 miles south of
Ridgecrest moving southwest at 10 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Ridgecrest, California City, Randsburg, China Lake Acres, Edwards
AFB, Boron, Government Peak, Laurel Mountain and North Edwards.
HAZARD...Less than 1/4 mile visibility is possible at times with
blowing dust.

At 440 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 15 miles northeast of Chowchilla to 8 miles
east of Mendota. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with these storms.
