Revival Vintage owner Nikki Swasey
More proof there are third and fourth acts in fashion could be found at 7403 Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles. It’s the new address of Revival Vintage, which sells well-preserved fashions and accessories from the 1800s to the 1980s. And on April 28, Revival owner Nikki Swasey held a shindig to celebrate her store’s move from its original site, in Los Angeles’ Sherman Oaks’ neighborhood, to its current 880-square-foot store, located by popular mall The Grove and the prominent Diane Merrick boutique.
At Revival’s stylish party, Frankie B. designer Daniella Clarke made an appearance. Television host Jillian Reynolds was also seen at the gathering. And if you really want to play a “where are they now” game, Revival owner Swasey played one of the kids on 1980s sitcom Diff’rent Strokes. She continues to work as an assistant director in film and TV.
For Revival, Swasey finds high-end dresses, jewelry and accessories from estate sales and private collections in America and across the world. Her latest antique obsession? 19th century jewelry women wore when they went into mourning. Retail price points range from $45 to $1,500 at the store. Core retail price points are $150 for a dress.
