Karl Lagerfeld is doing one for Macy’s. Premium denim line William Rast is doing one for Target. Call them diffusion lines or simply less costly alternatives to fashion with a contemporary or luxe price tag. Consumers seem to support them. Retailers continue to ask for them.
The William Rast for Target Collection will debut on Dec. 19, but William Rast held a shopping event on Dec 11 in downtown L.A. to let some celebs and V.I.Ps have first dibs at the diffusion line. Umm, can’t the A List afford the signature line?
DJ Travis Keller spun some rock tunes at the shopping event while celebs and friends of William Rast co-founder Justin Timberlake supported the line. Beautiful people seen at the event included Rachel Bilson, Minka Kelly, Joy Bryant, Anna Faris, Malin Akerman, Ryan Kwanten, Chord Overstreet and Darren Chris.
