Sleeping Giant
Designer Norma Kamali is going to design a line of sleepwear for Wal-Mart, which will be available on the retailer’s online site in October. Eventually, the sleepwear will be available at the hundreds of stores the company operates. The sleepwear will come in a range of sizes, from XS to 3X. The average-size line will retail for $8 to $12, and the plus-size line will go for $9 to $14. Kamali already has been collaborating with Wal-Mart in designs for dresses, outerwear, sweaters and skirts.
