In September, Los Angeles-based Goldsmith Klein atelier opened at 511 N. Robertson Blvd., and one of the label’s first clients was actress Eva Longoria. Soon she was seen wearing one of the label’s form fitting gowns for her gig hosting the 2011 Alma awards, which honored Latino entertainers.
The independent atelier held a trunk show Dec. 3 to benefit Pasadena, Calif.-based non-profit Hillsides, but designer Rebecca Goldsmith hopes every day could be a day to celebrate the atelier’s gowns and ready-to-wear.
“It’s got to be edgy, but it’s got to stand the test of time,” Goldsmith said of her gowns.
