Looks like producingfashion shows andappearing on reality TV are not enough for Mikey Koffman.

Koffman, the entrepreneur best known for producing the L.A. Fashion Weekend series of runway shows, officially debuted fashion public relations company Hollywood Style Haus on May 19 with business partner and fashion vet Alison Kennedy.

Located adjacent to Koffman’s The Gallery Los Angeles events and marketing offices at Sunset Gower Studios, Hollywood Style Haus promised affordable public relations services, ranging from $1,000 to $3,500, said Kennedy co-founder ofKPR Inc., a veteran of Los Angeles’ fashion scene. She represented IMG when it produced Mercedes-Benz Los Angeles Fashion Week. Kennedy will continue leading KPR as Koffman will continue business with The Gallery Los Angeles. Koffman also was one of the stars of the first season of The Real L Word reality series on the Showtime network.

Kennedy and Koffman thought there was a niche for their services because public relations can be out of reach for many new fashion labels. Typical rates charged by boutique public relations company start at $5,000, said the founder of one boutique public relations company. She did not want to be quoted for this blog, since she was negotiating with clients over rates. “But with those prices, you need 20 clients just to keep on the lights,” she said of Hollywood Style Haus’ fees.

Hollywood Style Haus will perform public relations services in print, TV, blog, social media as well as product placement. Currently its clientele is dominated by Los Angeles lines includinglingerie inspired swimwear line M.Cozabella, fitted leatherwear line Alexandra Cipriani, streetwear line Nature’s Mistake, lingerie and contemporary line Biatta, accessories line Nicole Lee and footwear lines Alejandra G and Greenbees, which makes shoe solesout of recycled tires. New York-based women’s tops and outerwear line Cino, also is represented by Hollywood Style Haus.
