Kelly Cole's Rockin' Debut

It was a Thursday night in L.A. If you are Marisa Tomei or Pauley Perrette, you ended up at the debut of the Kelly Cole boutique at 175 S. La Brea Ave.

These celebs may have gone there for the raw denim jeans, the vintage rock T-shirts or maybe the taxidermied baboon head above the cash register. But they stayed for the good times, along with the rest of the cool crowd at the debut party.

Cole has a storied history in L.A. of selling vintage rock T-shirts ( $500 for a rare, high end vintage Led Zeppelin or Police concert T, fanatics say it’s worth every penny.)He’s also made his mark deejaying and with interior design with an idiosyncratic touch.

With fashion,he’s also doing his own Kelly Cole brand which has been sold at American Rag and Maxfield. In a recent interview, he said he wanted the Kelly Cole boutique to function as his brand lab. I wonder what he’ll cook up?
