Summer is here and it is the time to get trippy.

Underground party Dripped Fashion Soiree Trunk Show threw a psychedelic 1960s summer kick-off party June 15 at The Holding Co. space, around Los Angeles’ dicey Pico Union area.

For this shindig, a bunch of fashion kids put together their interpretation of Andy Warhol’s Factory scene and San Francisco’s Haight Ashbury of the 1960s. Observing the stylish mayhem was Drew Bernstein of the fashion line Kill City which has been sold at American Rag, Fred Segal and of course Kill City’s awesome boutique. Bernstein thought the Dripped kids got their decades mixed up.

“The crazy colors and mixing of different looks…it reminds me of the 1990s,” Bernstein said while he worked a booth selling Kill City clothing. ’90s icons Perry Farrell and Linda Evangelista would be thrilled.

Lots of other fabulous designers and shops ran booths at the party including See You Monday, Qloak Showroom/Boutique, Rojas, Cow Girl Heaven, Fathom Foam.

Schooling the crowd on mod and psychedelic looks were installations produced by L.A. shops Buttons Bows, Round 2 LA, and Luxe De Ville. James Juarez served as installation stylist and art director, Leon Yeshua worked as hair art director, Elvis Zavaleta provided makeup art direction. And the mysterious and alluring GGeisha was at the crowd’s disposal as Dripped producer and hostess.Next Dripped party is scheduled for August/September. Fun!
