New VP at Bebe
Just six weeks after Bebe named a new executive vice president of design and product development, the women’s contemporary retailer announced a new chief merchandising officer on April 2.
Katrina Glusac was named CMO for the mall-based retailer. She will work closely with Brigitte Bogart, Bebe’s new EVP of design and product placement. Both will report to Bebe Chief Executive Steve Birkhold.
“With an exceptional track record in elevating the performance of prominent contemporary brands, Katrina will be instrumental in helping us develop a merchandising strategy to reflect today’s fashion-focused and digitally savvy customer,” Birkhold said in a statement.
Bebe currently operates 244 stores, with 191 operating under the Bebe nameplate, as well as an online store at www.bebe.com. The company also maintains 53 under the2b bebe nameplate, including an online store at www.2bstores.com.
