For designer Shellice Beharie, plus-size women are blacklisted from the fashion industry.

She was looking for an alternative to plus-size clothes, which she considered frumpy. In 2012, she developed Blacklisted, a line of contemporary fashions for plus-size women, as well as some smaller sizes.

Beharie recently opened the London Carter showroom to represent the Blacklisted collection. The 550-square-foot showroom will make its debut at the LA Fashion Market, which runs June 10–13.

Some signature looks for the line include the “Rebel Warrior.” Made out of vegan leather, the black dress features puff sleeves and falls right above the knees. Other looks feature a similar silhouette with a hood, as well as a vegan-leather mini dress and a romper. There’s also a turtleneck tunic, a tank top with a “warrior cross” embroidered on it and a one-shoulder dress. Fits range from size 2 to 22, and wholesale price points range from $60 to $200.
