Denim Recycling Goes Big

Cotton Incorporated's Blue Jeans Go Green program has recycled 600 tons of denim since 2006. Much of the recycled denim has found a new use as insulation for housing, which has been donated to non-profits such as Habitat for Humanity.

Earlier this month, the Blue Jeans Go Green program celebrated the one million pieces of denim collected for its program at the very swank Mondrian Los Angeles hotel.

If the party was great, the mission is not over. Blue Jeans Go Green still needs you to recycle jeans to make housing insulation for communities. For more information, visit the Blue Jeans Go Green page.
