Ferragamo Goes Pop at New Arts Complex

Glitz, glamour and fine arts were all found on the red carpet Oct. 17. It was the debut of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. The city’s newest arts complex is located a few blocks from its Civic Center.

Dubbed the Wallis, the arts complex is located in the grand, old building of the Beverly Hills Post office, which was constructed in 1933. The Wallis also features the new 500-seat Bram Goldsmith Theater.

The award winning actors Kevin Spacey, Diane Lane and John Lithgow performed in an original piece called a Dream In An Envelope during the night, but we were most interested in the venue’s Salvatore Ferragamo pop-up shop. It’s in the center’s Grand Hall, and it’s open until Nov. 15.

Ferragamo executives and family members appearing at the event were Ferruccio Ferragamo, Massimo and Chiara Ferragamo, James Ferragamo, Michele Norsa, Vincent Ottomanelli, President and Regional Director, Ferragamo USA.
