Back in 2012, Los Angeles Designer Cheryl Koo introduced The Other Duck, a line with art and some streetwear influences. For the Fall 2014 Los Angeles Fashion Week, she returned to debut the CM2K line at The Supper Club, a nightclub and high-end restaurant in Hollywood.
The 18-look women’s collection was described as post-apocalyptic by Koo, but it was the designer’s personal angle of the end of days. “It’s urban ninja, gas masks and teddy bears,” she said.
Looks included high-waist leggings, convertible hoodies and dresses with bodice tops and quilted skirts, all worn by models wearing ninja masks, some were holding teddy bears.
