Burberry's London in Los Angeles

We would go to the Griffith Observatory for a science nerd-out; check out a solar eclipse on the observatory’s telescope or get a good look at Saturn.

But for all of the cool kids, the venerable observatory has been a backdrop for many events, there’s the knife fight in the much ballyhooed 1955 film Rebel Without a Cause--- and on the night of April 16, there’s the London in Los Angeles fashion show produced by Brit brand Burberry.

For those going to the event, they’ll get to see new Burberry looks, live performances from musicians such as Clare Maguire, maybe catch a glimpse of P-22, a mountain lion which hunts in the Griffith Park area. He was made famous by a picture of his hunting above urban Los Angeles, it was published by National Geographic in December 2013.

As usual, I digress, For those not going to the event, Burberry said it will be webcasting the show on a number of outlets such as the new(ish) Periscope, a live streaming application owned by Twitter. Tally Ho!
