Oakley’s Art Dump

It’s called The Art Dump, a collective of artists who work for Girl Skateboards, doing some extra curricular trouble making. But there are fans who prize their Art Dump’s scrawlings. One major fan is the high profile Oakley sports performance and lifestyle label, which produced Oakley in Residence: Los Angeles.

There was an event for The Art Dump's work at the Oakley in Residence creative space April 23 at 7763 Melrose Avenue, a short walk from the Fairfax District. Artists at the event included Andy Jenkins, Andy Mueller, Jeremy Carnahan, Eric Anthony, Chris Waycott, Carlos Gutierrez, Nate Hooper and Nick Zegel.

For those who want to check out the Oakley in Residence, it’s open daily from 11am to 8PM until May 10. The space will hold screenings of skate flicks, workshops and athlete meet-ups.
