Agenda Emerge Talks New Ideas In Street & Action Sports

At the end of a trade show, booths are torn down and dinner plans are made, but when Agenda trade show wraps up on Jan. 8, trade show management will have one more thing on the itinerary. Call it inspiration. Project Cobalt will present Agenda Emerge at the Center Theater at the Long Beach Convention Center from 7 to 10PM Jan. 8.

Leaders and innovators in the streetwear, skate, art and action sports world will give TED event style talks on how they made a difference in the world of fashion, business, culture and arts. In past years, speakers have featured Shepard Fairey of Obey, Bob Hurley, Mike Ness of rock band Social Distortion, Mark Eckō and Bobby Hundreds.

One of the speakers for the Jan. 8 Agenda Emerge will be Jeff Kearl, chief executive officer and founder of Stance. The San Clemente, Calif.-headquartered company gave the humble category of socks a shake up. The company made socks an important fashion feature in boutiques as well as surf and skate shops.
