Tanner Goods Spins The Big Wheel

There was a steady stream of people trying their luck at a Wheel of Fortune –style game at Tanner Goods boutique in downtown Los Angeles. The reason for all that wheel spinning? Sure, it was for prizes and discounts, but May 30 also was the first anniversary for Tanner Goods store located at 860 S. Broadway. It was among the first high end boutiques to move into downtown Los Angeles recently.

Along with the wheel spinning game, partiers checked out Tanner’s latest collection Geoglyph, they drank beers from Ninkasi Brewing, based in Eugene, Ore., and they listened to the boutique’s jukebox. Tanner co-founders Sam Huff and Jevan Lautz traveled from the made-in-USA leather goods and lifestyle brand's headquarters in Portland, Ore. for the party.

Huff said that that the downtown Los Angeles boutique had an added mission. “It’s being able to come in and help reinvigorate a neighborhood,” he said.
