Ron Robinson at the Fights

In Los Angeles, there was a legendary venue which hosted events for Muhammad Ali and Johnny Rotten.

It was the Grand Olympic Auditorium. While the gritty venue is now the address for a mega-church, a group of documentarians hopes to tell the Olympic Auditorium’s story of its more than 50-years of grit, sports achievement and its punk rock finale. The group started a Kickstarter campaign this week to raise $60,000 to produce the documentary. On April 30, they threw something of a launch party for the campaign at the Ron Robinson boutique in Santa Monica. One of the producers of the doc is Willard Ford, who also helped start the Flagship sales agency. Per one of the slogans for the documentary; Join the brawl!
