Nifty Genius Debuts at Ron Robinson

Los Angeles brand Nifty Genius celebrated its debut collection with a trunk show at the Ron Robinson lifestyle concept store in Santa Monica, Calif.

Trunk show partiers perused through the collection’s chinos, blazers, flannel shirts and jackets.Co-founder James Costa said that the collection’s fabrics were combined with a Japanese textile called UltraSuede, an ultra microfiber which is said not to crack, stretch, fade or wrinkle.

Costa founded the company with Larry Lemon and Jared Cook, the tight end with the Green Bay Packers, formerly with the St. Louis Rams. Some of his former teammates from the Rams, now a Los Angeles team, showed up at the event.
