Model cum designer, Tori Praver, presented her Cruise 2010 collection on July 18 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. A small group of editors and photographers previewed the collection at a cocktail party and photo shoot in the Penthouse of The Raleigh hotel. Model Erin Wasson, who was in town for work, stopped by the event to support her friend’s foray into design.

Praver, a Hawaii native, recently launched the collection, which captures the look of her sexy-meets-surf lifestyle. Simple shapes, sexy cutouts and ruched details characterized the collection in shades of purple, turquoise, red, black and white. This season, Praver introduced maillots and cover ups for a complete beach look. —N. Jayne Seward
