A/R Management Expands Services, Sales Force

San Dimas, Calif.-based A/R Management Services (ARMS), a credit and collection outsourcing company, recently began offering full outsourcing to its clients. ARMS previously handled outsourcing as a cooperative effort with a client’s own personnel and as a support to factors, banks and asset-based lenders and now has the capacity to fully function as a client’s credit and collections departments.

“We have grown tremendously since we started in ’91,” said Robert Prather, president of ARMS. “While our specialty lies in chargeback recovery, ARMS is fully staffed and well-equipped to handle all phases of accounts receivable management.

To facilitate the new service offering, ARMS recently expanded its sales force, bringing in Esperanza Murtagh as sales manager. Murtagh has more than 20 years of experience in commercial financing, factoring and asset-based lending.

“[Murtagh] will spearhead our growth and initiate the expansion of our services to include full outsourcing of credit and collections departments,” said Prather.

Outsourcing of an entire department creates an economy of human resources by focusing on the cost of a consultant as opposed to employees who require a salary and benefits, a savings valued in tough economic times.

ARMS also offers portfolio liquidation, chargeback overload assistance, consulting and professional staffing. —Darryl James
