Arnold was unanimously voted next executive director of the Council for Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), succeeding Fern Mallis, who will join IMG, to oversee the 7th on Sixth fashion shows, which IMG purchased from the CFDA earlier this year; Arnold is a partner in the law firm Sidley Austin Brown & Wood.
