Urban Suburban Show Highlights Young Men's Urban Fashion

Los Angeles’ California Mart will present the second installment of it’s biannual trade show on the fourth floor on March 12-14. The show will primarily showcase CalMart’s young men’s’ and urban business.

“I wanted to do something for the men’s floor in the Mart and for the men’s business in Los Angeles in general,” said Karen Mamont, executive director of marketing at CaliforniaMart.

The CalMart planned the first show last October with the input of key tenants. Mamont called in reps from labels such as Ecko, Calvin Klein, Ruff Ryders, Boss, FUBU and YMLA—lines she said could bring in retailers and attract other manufacturers to participate in the show. —Darryl James
