Hudson Joins MJW

Former California Mart executive Larry Hudson has joined the Los Angeles-based real estate firm MJW Investments as its new director of leasing.

Hudson, who oversaw leasing at the Cal Mart for four years, will now oversee leasing for a number of MJW projects, including the Los Angeles fashion district’s Gerry Building, which is being renovated with more than 115,000 square feet of showroom space available for apparel manufacturers and sales representatives and is located across the street from the Cal Mart.

Hudson’s responsibilities will also include overseeing leasing for MJW’s new 800,000-square-foot mixed-use project on downtown Los Angeles’ Los Angeles Street, which is expected to break ground in mid-2002, as well as MJW’s 2 million square feet of retail properties located throughout California.

“We’re very excited to have Larry join our team,” said Mark Weinstein, president and chief executive officer of MJW. “This is a perfect fit for our organization as we continue to build upon the excitement of working and living in downtown Los Angeles.” —Robert McAllister
