Increasing the International in the L.A. Textile Show

Visitors to the Oct. 18–20 run of the Los Angeles International Textile Show at the California Market Center will get a greater sampling of international exhibitors than they have in recent seasons.

Both the French Pavilion on the 13th floor and TexItalia, which houses Italian mills in the fashion theater, have increased the number of exhibitors at the show.

The French Pavilion features 13 companies, including several that are new to the show and a few that have relocated from enclosed showrooms at the show to the open booths of the pavilion.

New to the event are AB Creations, maker of high-fashion silks and wool fabrics; Frantissor, which produces chic silky fabrics for sportswear customers such as Kenzo; Soieries Chambutaires, which makes silk fabrics for evening and bridal apparel; and Trouillet, which produces colorful woven shirtings. E.S.F., which sells sophisticated stretch fabrics for the swim and lingerie markets, and Billon Freres, which sells sophisticated knitwear, have joined the pavilion.

Other exhibitors in the French Pavilion include J.B. Bernard, Goutarel, Sofileta, Deveaux, Chaine Et Trame/Tecmoda, Henitex and Sprintex.

TexItalia will showcase B.A.P., Bottonificio La Perla, Caverni & Gramigni, Cotonificio Veneto, Efilan, Eusebio, Fedora Group, Guest, Inwool Jersey, Its Artea, Mapel, Pacini Nello, Pinori Filati, Ricci 1925, Ritmotex, Seterie Argenti, Taiana Virgilio, Teseo and Tessilgodi.
