24Seven Launches New Online Resource
Bicoastal recruiting agency 24Seven has launched a new online resource called 24SevenTalent to offer career development resources to national and international job seekers within the apparel community.
The new site, www.24seventalent.com—which can be accessed directly or from a link on 24Seven’s main site, www.24sevenonline.com—includes industry-related articles, information about career-advancement courses and seminars, job listings, and discounts on everything from Pantone products to health insurance to spas and salons.
The site offers two levels of membership: free and premier. Free membership includes access to articles, job listings and some events. Premier membership, which costs $39.95 per year, includes access to articles; job listings; and discounts on products, events, services and industry training.
Recent training sessions included courses in fashion technology such as WebPDM, Photoshop, Illustrator and Micrografx and career workshops on topics such as “How to Spec a Garment” and “Reacute;sumeacute; and Portfolio Review.”
