Delta Sells Yarn Plant
Duluth, Ga.–based Delta Apparel has sold its yarn manufacturing plant in Edgefield, S.C., to Parkdale America for $10 million and has struck a 5-year agreement with Parkdale to procure yarn for Delta and its subsidiary, M. J. Soffe Co. Delta manufactures branded and private-label activewear.
