Caruso Unveils Marina Renovation
Los Angeles real estate developer Caruso Affiliated last weekend unveiled its $11-million renovation of the Marine Waterside shopping center, now known as Waterside Marina del Rey.
The 140,000-square-foot center features renovated storefronts in a new horseshoe-shaped format, with wider walkways and a cobblestone-and-tile courtyard dining area.
The developer added about 10,000 square feet of new space, which attracted new tenants such as M. Fredric Woman and M. Fredric Man, White House/Black Market, Marmi Shoes, Brighton Collectibles and Maison d’Optique. A new restaurant, Le Marmiton French bistro, will open in mid-December after relocating from Montana Avenue. Also to be added is a 36,000- square-foot Ralphs Fresh Fare market.
The center is located off of Lincoln Boulevard between Mindanao Way and Fiji Way. Caruso acquired the property last year and it’s now 100 percent leased. —Robert McAllister
