San Francisco Fashion Week '05: Richard Hallmarq

Contemporary fashion designer Richard Hallmarq got much of his inspiration from traditional Central American dressings and modified them for contemporary fashion lovers. The Panamanian-born designer paired a black beaded halter tank top with a white asymmetrical ruffled skirt and matched a white belted puffed-sleeve shirt with low-rise Bermuda shorts. A gray-and-blue tie-dyed wrap dress with a crisscross front was wellconstructed and sexy. The versatile designer also created some menswear pieces, including a V-neck shirt with a molten-lava abstract print, which he paired with crisp white karate pants.
