San Francisco Fashion Week '05: Valentine Gallery
All-natural fabrics made up the Valentine Gallery collection. Identical twins Jan and Jill Dudensing looked to their family’s history in the art world for inspiration in their clothing designs, which mostly consisted of gauze dresses. The twins personalized each design with raw edges and manipulated fabric. An ivory halter mini-dress was embellished with feather details, while a brown spaghetti-strap sundress was decorated with turquoise beads. To round out their looks, the designers accessorized the outfits with vintage cowboy boots.
