Hartmarx Delisted
The New York Stock Exchange LLC suspended trading on Hartmarx Corp.’s common stock beginning Nov. 26 because of a failure to comply with the NYSE’s minimum average capitalization standard of “not less than $25 million over a consecutive 30-trading-day period.” In response, the Chicago-based company announced that its stock “will continue to be listed on the Chicago Stock Exchange and will be traded through normal brokerage channels.” Hartmarx stock will continue to be traded under the stock-ticker symbol HMX. Hartmarx produces menswear under several brands, including Hart Schaffner Marx, Hickey Freeman, Palm Beach, Monarchy, Society Brand and Sansabelt and women’s apparel under the One Girl Who ..., Zooey by Alice Heller and B.chyll labels.
