Mettler, Georgiadis Join Jones
New York–based Jones Apparel Group named Robert L. Mettler and Margaret H. Georgiadis to the company’s board of directors. Mettler, who recently retired from Macy’s Inc. as president of special projects, was Macy’s West’s president and chief operating officer and then chairman and chief executive officer from 2000 to 2008. Georgiadis was previously executive vice president of card products and chief marketing officer for Discover Financial Services.
