Burrows Honored by N.Y. Museum

Designer Stephen Burrows was named by The Museum of the City of New York as one of an elite group “who have helped define the city for the past four centuries.” Created to commemorate Henry Hudson’s voyage 400 years ago, the museum’s “NYC400” includes 400 “movers and shakers since the city’s founding—from politics, the arts, business, sports, science and entertainment.” Others singled out by the museum included Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Estee Lauder, Martin Scorsese, Billie Holiday, Russell Simmons, Spike Lee, Sean Combs, Alvin Ailey and Ralph Lauren.
