Learning the Ins and Outs of California's Employment Law
Employment law is a complicated subject that determines who gets paid overtime, who doesn’t and a host of other regulations.
But many apparel companies are still trying to figure it all out. With that in mind, lawyers from Dykema, a law firm with offices in Los Angeles, are hosting a free, two-hour panel to discuss and clarify aspects of the law.
The panel—consisting of attorneys Laura Worsinger, John Viola and Kevin Snyder—will cover topics such as meal periods, rest periods, overtime, worker classification and business expenses that should be covered by employers.
Those interested in attending the panel, which will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 30 at Dykema’s offices, located at 333 S. Grand Ave., suite 2100, should RSVP by April 16.
