Dassault Names New Managing Director

Dassault Systegrave;mes named Al Bunshaft managing director of the 3-D and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) provider, which is based in Lowell, Mass.

Bunshaft previously spent more than 25 years at IBM. In his new position at Dassault Systegrave;mes, he is tasked with managing the company’s American business operations.

“Al brings a wealth of PLM experience to his new role as managing director of our Americas organization,” said Bruno Latchague, executive vice president, PLM Enterprise Business Transformation, Dassault Systegrave;mes.

At IBM, Bunshaft was most recently global vice president of IBM PLM, where he led the company’s strategic partnership with Dassault Systegrave;mes.

Dassault Systegrave;mes’ American operations had been managed since 2006 by Tom Emmrich, who has been named senior vice president, worldwide services, for the company.—Alison A. Nieder
