Rhapsody Heads to MAGIC With New Licensed Lines

Los Angeles manufacturer Rhapsody Clothing Inc. is putting a young contemporary spin on some familiar cartoon characters.

The company’s Rhapsody Couture by Rhapsody Studio division unveils three new licensed collections—featuring Betty Boop, House of Snoopy and Olivia—at the MAGIC Marketplace in Las Vegas this month.

On view in the Rhapsody booth in the Young Contemporary section of WWDMAGIC, the new lines incorporate the cartoon characters in pieces with contemporary styling and details.

Founded in 1994, Rhapsody has its own production lines in Guatemala and Mexico, as well as sourcing resources in China, Bangladesh and India. Rhapsody Studio is the company’s licensed product subsidiary.
